Inman Aligner Case
Mark Seddon first visited the practice in 2017 looking into cosmetic options. After having all options fully explained he decided the Inman Aligner would be the most appropriate choice.
Mark was initallly apprehensive - being a personal trainer and gym instructor, clear communication was key to his job role. One of the many benefits of the inman aligner is that it can removed. It was explained this should be worn as much as possible to deliver continual progress and avoid teeth returning to their original position.
On Mark's arrival it was obvious his arch was narrowed forcing the teeth to become overcrowded, making teeth more suspectable to plaque build up. However, there were no signs of missed cleaning or excessive plaque build up. The front tooth was slightly chipped, unevenly worn and protruding forward.
Normally treatment takes between 6-18 weeks but in Mark's case he was regularly removing as he felt self concious teaching classes.
The results you can see took 6 months. Once the teeth had been realigned there was a small wire bonded to the reverse side of the front teeth to permanently hold them in place. The minor chips have disappeared with the use of minimal composite bonding. This was a minimally invasive cosmetic solution that was adapted to the needs of his daily life.
